Hi,
I’m making some rubber stamps myself, but I need the mounting, to attach my stamps, but I can’t seem to find them to buy in bulk. For example: stamp pre inked mount, and wood handle mounts.

Job-vs-skills What should i do ?

Need advise. I am working and love the work I do but feel I am being taking advantage of because of my skills. I work retail doing Custom Engraving for Corporate Awards, Custom Trophies, I make custom Rubber Stamps. Wait on customers and do lots of computer work all for little over minimum wage. When the new girl got hired she was suppose to do rubber stamps, but she cries all the time and has such emotional outbreaks on us and customers and the boss wont do anything towards it. She can sit and draw in her scrapbook spiral all day but can’t learn her job. How should I approach this. I really love the Award & Trophy part because I was hired for that position. Here is deli-ma…… I was housewife for years been here 5 years and it is Mon – Fri job. I want to go back to school because I do not want this as my career but I can’t afford to lose it either. I do not want to do mail order courses because you do not get credits for those.

Encaustic Art lesson 03 – rubber stamping

combine rubber stamp images with encaustic art to create quick simple pieces of artwork that convey specific ideas. The rubber stamps give the message and the encaustic art wax creates the environment for that stamped image. silhouette stamps are best for this, but clip art printed on an inkjet is great too – use the correct encaustic art card stock!
