A while ago I thought I lost my passport and applied for another telling the agency I lost mine. I found it a while later and held on to it. I use the second passport for travel. I’d like to travel to Libya for vacation but my primary passport has an Israeli stamp AND I’d really prefer not to raise flags every time I return to the US and end up in the rubber-glove line at customs because of a Libyan visa in my passport.
Would I be able to use my original passport for Libya or will alarm bells go off because that passport has been reported lost? I’m aware that I can apply for a second legal US passport but I’d rather not go though that if I don’t have to.
